ANR project ALARICE is proposing a postdoc position at the interface between automata networks and algorithmic complexity theory. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in theoretical computer science / discrete mathematics / combinatorics. Expertise in the following areas will be particularly considered: computational models, discrete dynamical systems, algorithmic complexity theory, algorithmic and structural graph theory, games on graphs.
The hired researcher will join the Modèles de Calcul, Complexité, Combinatoire group at I3S in Nice and Sophia Antipolis.
Starting date: September 2026 (flexible).
Duration: 1 year.
Salary: 2600€-3370€ gross per month (2100€-2700€ net), depending on experience.
